Review 68: This Is How You Lose the Time War

This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I just could not get into this one. Normally, time travel is one of my favourite tropes, especially when it's done well, like in this novel. The story, the romance, the style is all very fresh and engaging. I just could not get into it. At no moment did the story hook me. It just dragged along to a conclusion.
