Review 64: Flowers for Algernon

Flowers for Algernon Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a beautiful book. It provides an intricate insight into the life of a ''retard'' (as the character is referred to) and how he develops to become an insanely smart individual thanks to surgery. The themes of managing life, love and relationships while you are intellectually advanced but emotionally stunted really hit home.
