Review 35: Norwegian Wood

Norwegian Wood Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The book that started my fascination with Murakami. I cannot tell you why this book made me fall in love with Murakami's writing. Maybe it's the flow that carries you away with the ease and grace of a ballet dancer. Maybe it's the unique characters that teeter on the brink of the unbelievable, but never drop off. They remain approachable, like people you might want to meet someday. Perhaps it's the heartfelt and true emotions that are so seamlessly conveyed.

Ok, maybe I can say why.

I loved this book. I never thought I would like 'proper literature'. But I did.
