It's Dan Brown, what do you expect? You either hate the utter campy-ness that is his writing style or you love it. I'm maybe a little bit ashamed to admit I belong to the latter. Yes, Langdon is a bit of dork, yes, the female characters are pretty much carbon copies of each other, book after book, yes the story is almost the same (history+villain+world changing event promptly forgotten the next book around) but if you're into that, then this is for you. No shame.
